Here’s one simple spread pass concept to attack cover 2 & 4 or any type of MOFO look that you may get from a defense. I usually only run this play when I feel like I absolutely need a first down, or I’m taking a shot and thinking I can get a touchdown out of this. It’s been a great play for me when I’m facing 3rd and long or in a 2 minute situation where I need a quick drive to get in the end zone.
This concept is best ran out of empty set, and it’s designed to get your #3 WR or the RB the ball who has a clear advantage over a LB who is most likely responsible for him.
