Blocking Counter Trey Against an Odd Front
GT Counter trey has been one of my favorite schemes for the last few years. I love the natural angles used in the blocking scheme and getting multiple linemen to the point of attack to create wide running lanes for the running back.
The blocking responsibilities change when facing defenses in different fronts. Counter trey will be blocked differently vs an even front compared to an odd front.
Below is a video I published that outlines the 2 simple rules that I use to teach blocking Counter Trey against an odd front. These rules can help simplify the blocking scheme for your players and allow them to play fast.
